Group Tickets (20 people or more): NT$5
Special Discount: Students, Military Personnel, Children ages 6 to 12, low-income Taipei citizens with ID: NT$10
Entrance to the museum is free for the following people:
◎ Family members of 2-28 victims,
◎ The mentally or physically disabled and one of their partners,
◎ Teachers and students in the Taipei City schools who receive written permission
upon application
◎ Retired government employees, military veterans, senior citizens aged 65 and
older
◎ Tour guides with special passes from the Tourism Bureau
◎ Persons with city government-approved children's tourist passports
◎ Students studying in museum departments at a technical school who receive
written permission upon application.
Entrance to the museum is free to public on February 28 and December 10 (Human Rights Day)

◎ When entering the museum, please leave all large bags, backpacks, briefcases, and other
luggage at the Museum's service desk.
◎ Please wear proper attire, i.e., no slippers.
◎ Please do not smoke or bring food into the museum (includes chewing gum and betelnut).
◎ Please do not bring pets.
◎ Please do not bring dangerous articles.
◎ Video and photography are not permitted inside the museum
◎ Please do not bring camera equipment into the museum.
◎ Please respect other visitors, as well as the historical purpose of the museum, by observing
appropriate behavior.
◎ Please do not speak loudly or engage in horseplay inside the museum.
◎ Visitors are welcome to use the elevators to go to different floors. Please give priority to the
elderly, the physically disabled, and children when using the elevator.
◎ The museum offers baggage check services, as well as wheelchairs and baby carriages for
public use.
◎ Please do not touch museum articles and displays – many of the museum's artifacts are rare
and fragile.
◎ Please keep in mind that handling museum articles can damage them, and unduly influence
other visitors. Please help us protect the museum's assets. |

1. Guide Services
A. Recorded Tours - Languages
The Museum provides self-guided recorded tours in Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, Hakka, English and Japanese.
Those borrowing a recorded tour must leave an ID card, driver's license, or passport as a security deposit.
To find out more about recorded tours, please see one of the service personnel.
B. Museum Films
‘The History of the 2-28 Museum' (9 min.) is shown in the Museum Films Viewing Room on the first floor of the museum.
Screenings are at 10:00am , 11:30am , 1:00pm , 2:30pm , and 4:00pm . For group viewings, please enquire at the service desk.
‘Testimonies' (70 min.) is shown repeatedly throughout the day in the Testimonies Film Room on the second floor of the museum.
C. Setting up group tours
2. Baby carriages and wheelchairs are available upon request.
3. Baggage Check Services
Visitors can leave their bags and other belongings at the service desk. However, please keep your valuable items with you – the museum does not assume responsibility for lost or damaged personal items.
